Counselor Corner

Hello everyone! I am Ms. Erin Trawick, the school counselor at Monument. The 2014-2015 school year will be my 5th year at Monument and I am looking forward to what next year has to bring! I love working with all of your children, helping them problem solve and make positive choices.

 

Before I started working at Monument, I worked as an elementary school counselor in Milford, NY right outside of Cooperstown. Before that, I was a Resident Director while I attended graduate school at The Sage Colleges in Troy, NY where I also got my bachelor's degree in Communications and Information Design.

 

Currently, I reside in Wynantskill, NY outside of Troy. I spend a lot of time with my family in Rotterdam, NY, where I grew up. I was born in Syracuse, NY and am an avid Syracuse Orange Basketball fan.

 

When I am not working, I have a wide range of interests from hiking and enjoying nature to fashion and art. I really enjoy hanging out with my friends, playing with my two chihuahuas Buddy and Rocco, drinking coffee and I LOVE attending live music events.
